Stained Glass Workshops

In an attractive garden studio Shedglas Design offers you the opportunity to learn the traditional skills for working with stained glass. Make a colourful leaded stained glass panel or a selection of attractive sun catchers.

During the Introductory Workshops you will be able to learn the basic techniques of cutting the stained glass, fitting the pieces to a pattern with lead came or copper foil and soldering everything together, resulting in your own unique colourful stained glass piece. Working in a small group, a maximum number of six people, these prove to be sociable and productive days. If you catch ’the bug’ (and many people do!) you can try an advanced stained glass workshop making mirrors, jewellery or developing your own personal project.

All the equipment and materials are provided and on the set workshop days a light homemade lunch is included in the cost.

Various dates are arranged throughout the year, but if a group of friends want a different sort of day out or work colleagues are looking for a different type of ’team building’ day, dates for groups of 4 to 6 people can be arranged to suit everybody.
